Electronic Score Realization

"He is a master of MIDI orchestration..." Electronic Music Foundation
"Gerber animates the technology into producing something quintessentially human." Dennis Báthory-Kitsz

I am now offering this new service to composers, arrangers, songwriters, instrumentalists and students who need to hear their music orchestrated and produced by an experienced producer and composer using precise audio technology and a state-of-the-art sound library. My professional and extensive background in composition, orchestration, sequencing, recording, mixing and producing music for CDs, games, animation, film, dance and multimedia coupled with the Vienna Instruments Symphonic Cube Extended orchestral library makes this service a great choice for discerning musicians who need a high-quality recording of their music. We'll discuss your composition and its interpretation, and use your standard MIDI file, or Sibelius or Finale file to turn your music into an expressive and artistic performance-level recording. This is not, and will not sound like, a "MIDI mockup." Instead, I will bring your score up to digital performance standards that will please even the most critical listener.  Here are examples.
The studio uses the Adam S3A speakers and are known to be one of the finest pairs of powered mid/near-field monitors available. The mix is made with the Yamaha DM2000 digital mixing board, a console with high quality signal processors on board and an efficient and flexible digital signal path with scene and real-time automation. Since the library computer is connected via ADAT to the DAW, there is no AD or DA conversion necessary, which helps maintain signal integrity and sound quality.  The studio's Big Ben master clock keeps signals tight and free of jitter, pops and clicks.  There's also fine software and hardware reverbs, EQ and other signal processing to further enhance your sound.
If you're a film, game or TV composer and don't have the time or sound library to get the best orchestrated results for your project, this service is for you. If you're seeking a high-quality recording of your music to submit to an orchestra or chamber group, or to a competition, festival or music school, this service is for you as well.  If you are making a CD and want your composition orchestrated and produced to professional standards, or if you simply want to hear your music produced to bring out the best of your composition, my service will help you to achieve your goal.  I work with you to ensure that the interpretation and sound you're hearing in your aural imagination is realized musically and sonically. Your music is recorded in 24-bit uncompressed wave, AIFF or other available format and can be delivered on CD, DVD, flash drive, or other media of your choice.
